hey all!
this is gonna be a short one. everything is going awesome. i took a trip to the beach this weekend in manuel antonio with 4 friends from school. it was alot of fun. we spent time on the beach and did a zipline tour the jungle! i met a couple today that i will be helping out with their pizzaria when i move down to dominical, costa rica. very cool family.
it was back to school today. it is hard, but, with God's help i am making progress and enjoying myself.
God seems to keep trying to show me that i do not need to be qualified to fruitfully serve Him, but WILLING to take risks, to have faith in things i've never seen take place, but His Word says can...for where does the power to make anything possibe come from? a certain qualification, a personality trait, a strong will, or an Almighty God?
PICS!!!

got in today after a very long trip. my flight from tulsa ran late, so i missed my flight to costa rica and had to stay overnight in atlanta. the hotel was brand new, and the staff seemed a bit rusty. after i got my keys for room 205, i opened the door to my room and immediately saw someone using the restroom with the door open...ha, awkward. i quickly left the room, and as i turned around, the worker was apologizing to me and giving me my actual keys to room 305. haha.
my host family is very nice and they have been helping me to learn spanish. tomorrow, it's back to school for me. just for a month, then i go down to live near the beach and intern with the surf church in dominical.
in the house i am staying, there are many colors: orange, green, yellow, blue...and the doors are usually open. it is cool, because you can hear the rain peacefully falling outside.
this morning in the airport, i impulsively bought a digital camera. totally spontaneous, but it definately won't be a waste! costa rica is too beautiful to not have a camera! i should have alot of pictures up over the next few months!
well that's about it for now.
oh, did anyone hear that michael jackson died?! ;)
